If the major corporate houses cooperate, Odisha can have significant development in the MSME sector.”, he further added.

The port is now ranked 2nd as compared to 6th in major port trusts of India”. Expressing his concern over the time wasted in clearance of the planned projects, he said, “we should start speaking about the holy cow of environmental issues which has become a bottle neck for industrial growth in the state, especially the requirement of a timeline to asses and clear the projects.”

Mr. Debabrata Dash, Secretary, Utkal Chamber, thanked all the guests and participants and informed that the Chamber has been playing the role of an accelerator in the growth of trades and industries in the state especially through its members.
