The CM Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the conclave and unveil different creative activities taken up by the channel, on an event on 03 March 2016, Thursday, to be organized at Bhubaneswar.

As a part of the media and communication activities on Biju Babu, OdishaLIVE is going to launch the first ever Digital Platform (www.bijupatnaik.org) on the legend. This bilingual online media shall carry articles, memoirs, photographs and videos clips on Biju Patnaik. “It is our humble endeavor to reconnect the great leader of the century with the world, especially with the youth of the nation and worldwide”, said Nilambar Rath, Editorial Director of OdishaLIVE. His life and achievements and unparallel conviction will certainly inspire the young generation, he added.

OdishaLIVE has also initiated number of paintings under ‘Paint the Legend’ programme which will be unveiled on the event. The paintings are created by veteran artist Prof. Baladev Maharatha.

Similarly, other items which portray the memory of the legend include a souvenir calendar carrying historic and rare photographs of Biju Patnaik, a Postal Special Cover etc. The Chief Guest Naveen Patnaik will unveil them at the Conclave.

The web media has also created an occasion to discuss on the life and philosophy of Biju Babu and its relevance in today’s time. Veteran journalists, political thinkers, social activists and intellectuals from various spheres will deliberate their ideas and experiences on the legend at panel discussion. Theme of the discussion has been chosen as ‘Biju Patnaik- A Visionary Leader of the Century’, Mr. Rath has further informed.

As a part of series, OdishaLIVE is also going to organise an event on 05 March, at different parts of Bhubaneswar city on the Birth Anniversary of Biju Babu, where common people can join and offer their tribute. Similarly, on 6th March, common city-goers can also offer tribute to Biju Patnaik at ‘Raahgiri’, where OdishaLIVE  is organising some awareness programmes on the towering personality of the country.
