Bhubaneswar, 08th April, 2016: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a dynamic subject in the changing industrial and social scenario, today. Many leading industrial houses, social organizations and individuals are putting various efforts and doing innovations in the domain. To bring the key stake holders together and discuss on the agenda, OdishaLIVE is going to organize ‘Odisha CSR Summit’.

This event, in association with KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) will be held on 12 April at Bhubaneswar. Looking into the contemporary need, the organizers have chosen ‘CSR and Inclusive Growth’ as the key agenda of ‘Odisha CSR Summit 2016’.

“The summit will be inaugurated by minister of industries and mass education Debi Prasad Mishra. Similarly several veteran business leaders, CSR heads, domain experts and academicians will participate in the panel discussion on ‘CSR and Inclusive Growth’ to churn out on the subject,” informed Mr. Nilambar Rath, Founder and Editor OdishaLIVE. “In the modern world where a harmony between development and the society is crucial, CSR plays an important role”, he added.

Best CSR Practices Awards is going to be another attraction of the event. Different business organizations and CSR initiators are going to be felicitated at the event for their innovations and extra ordinary contributions to the field. “These awards are primarily based on nominations and there are different categories,” shared Mr. Sandeep Behera, Head Sales and Branding at OdishaLIVE.

Along with minister of Industries, dignitaries like Dr. Prasanna Kumar Pattasani, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha; Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA; and Ananta Narayan Jena, Mayor, BMC shall grace the event.
