Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the first Odisha Art Conclave-2016 being organized by Ila Panda Centre for Arts (IPCA)in the capital city on Monday at Mayfair convention, Bhubaneswar. At the two-day long conclave, around 40 famous artisans of Odisha presented their creative paintings.

Chief Minister went around the art exhibition displayed by IPCA and also released a book ‘Mo Jibanare Rupara Prabhaba’ during the event.

Two eminent tribal and folk artists Shri Bhanu Nayak from Kalahandi and Shri Laxmidhar Mahapatra of Digapahandi were felicitated by the CM for their contribution in field of tribal and folk art in Odisha.

Dr. Prasanna Patsani, Honorable MP, Bhubaneswar; Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA; Dr. Sitakant Mahapatra, Chairman Advisory Board; Shri Jatin Das, eminent painter; Mrs Paramita Mahapatra, Trustee IPCA were also present at the conclave.
