Bhubaneswar, 14 December 2015 (OdishaLIVE Bureau): The 6th Charitable Corporate Cricket League (CCCL) 2015 is going to be held from 17 to 20 December, at Kishore Club Ground, Unit-1, Bhubaneswar.

_MG_1058This 4 day long unique sports event, jointly hosted by social organization ‘WE4YOU’ & web channel ‘OdishaLIVE’, will be inaugurated at 10.30am, on 17 December. Similarly, the presentation ceremony shall be held at the said ground at 7.30pm on 20 December, Sunday.

32 leading Corporate Teams, including Media Eleven, are taking part in the game this year. They will face their fate in the 63 matches in day and night format. The Champion and Runners Up team along with ‘Man of the Series’ and other outstanding players will be given away trophies in the presentation ceremony on 20 December evening, CCCL 2015 organisers informed here in a press conference.

Senior Administrators, veteran sports stars and celebrities shall join the inaugural and presentation ceremonies to cheer the Teams. The main objectives behind CCCL is well defined in the tagline of the event, which says – ‘Cricket for a Cause’, the organisers added.

This year, Team CCCL has decided to felicitate two young journalists, one from Print and one from Electronic media, for their contribution to the field of sports journalism in the state.

On behalf of Team CCCL 2015, Mr. Nilambar Rath, Founder and Editor, OdishaLIVE; Mr. Abhaya Mohanta, Founder, We4You; Mr. Sandeep Simon Behera, Chief Consultant – Branding, OdishaLIVE and Mr. Susant Kumar Das, Founder and Director, SJ TechnoTrade were present in the press conference.

_MG_1095On the occasion, logo of CCCL 2015 was unveiled. Similarly, after the media interaction, a pre-event meeting was held for the Team Managers where the fixture and match process was discussed. The Core Team members of CCCL welcomed all the Teams and requested them to play the matches with good spirit and maintain proper discipline.

32 Corporate Teams had participated in CCCL 2014. In that season, while Vedanta Sesa Sterlite was the Champion & Utkal Alumina was the Runners Up, the semifinalists were ESSAR group & Corporate Cricket Club.
