JSPL Foundation, promoted by leading corporate house Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL), presented ‘Swayamsiddh Samman’ to felicitated 33 traditional artisans and craftsmen who have been engaged over decades to build the holy chariots of the lords during Rathyatra festival at Puri. .

Swayamsiddh Samman has been an innovative and social contribution of JSPL foundation in appreciating the heroes who are normally not being recognized in the public. The 2nd edition of the ‘Samman’ was organised on 11th August 2016 at Bhanja Kala Mandap, Bhubaneswar.

Along with Smt. Shallu Jindal, President, JSPL Foundation and eminent Kuchipudi danseuse; Srimad Guruji Budhabapa and PadmaBibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mohapatra, eminent Sculpture and President, Odisha Lalit Kala Akadami graced the occasion.
