CII Enterprise Odisha 2013 gave away awards to corporate for Best Practices in the field of Environment, Safety and Health. NSPCL (NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited), NALCO and Sesa Sterlite bag the awards.
Bhubaneswar: CII gave away Best ESH – Environment, Safety and Health awards during Enterprise Odisha 2013. Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik gave the awards to the corporate house which stood first and to the first and second runner’s up.
The companies which were conferred with this prestigious ESH awards are:
1st prize — NSPCL (NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited)
On behalf of NSPCL the award was received by Mr. K. K. Sharma, CEO, Mr. Y. Singh, General Manager and Mr. J. K. Varun, Additional General Manager.
1st Runners up — NALCO
On behalf of NALCO, the award was received by Mr. S. S. Mohapatra, Director (Production – Aluminium smelter), Mr. K. K. Panda, DGM (SHE) and Chief Safety Officer Mr. Sanjeev Roy, GM(smelter), Mr. Jeevan Mohapatra, AGM Environment (SHE Sept).
2nd Runners up – Sesa Sterlite Pvt Ltd.
On behalf of Sesa Sterlite, the award was received by Mr. D. K. Singh, Sr. Vice President and Head (HSC and Sustainability), Mr. Krutisundar Mohapatra, Manager (Safety and Sustainability)
